Theta Trig Substitution. We can substitute a trigonometric experession to simplify finding integrals in calculus. Trig and u substitution together (part 1).

My answer is simply 'you do not have to do anything and that is the wrong question.
X=asin(theta) dx= acos(theta)d(theta) sqrt= acos(theta). Instead ask yourself 'what can i do?' and 'out. Tan(theta) = 1/2 and theta = ? Use the trigonometric substitution to write the algebraic expression as a trigonometric function of θ, where 0 < θ < π/2.
